Castiglione della Pescaia: the territory

The wines of Castiglione della Pescaia are the result of a combination of natural and human factors. The mineral-rich, well-drained soil provides ideal conditions for growing vines. The most widely grown grape varieties include Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Vermentino.
