Deep dark ink with touches of red velvet on the rim. On the nose is complex with notes fruits like blackcurrant, red cherry and blueberries with touches of black pepper, cedar that evolves on black olive and underbrush. On the palate has a Balance entrance with a silky mouthfeel lifted by a great acidity lingering on dark fruit like cassis evolving on a dense structure with chocolate, tobacco box and black cherry.
Monteverro
Monteverro’s flagship. A true Premier Grand Cru of Maremma, made from the classic Bordeaux grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot and yet with the unmistakable character of the Tuscan coast. The grapes are exclusively from prime locations on Monteverro slopes which flow gently to the sea, the wine is aged for about 24 months in barriques from the best coopers and then for two years in the bottle.

The Monteverro estate is located at the foot of the medieval village of Capalbio, in the southernmost part of Tuscany, the Maremma. A genuine passion for wine dictates that no compromises are made in the manual processing and selection of grapes during the harvest, to finally bring each grape variety, each terroir and each vintage to its maximum expression, with precision and by adopting innovative winemaking techniques.

Scents of Red Fruits, mostly Cherry Warm and Soft, with a good Structure. Amazing pair with Tuscan salami and white meats, also with fish soups. Cilegiolo from the vineyards of Sovana and Pitigliano. The oldest vineyards, in Pitigliano, were planted in the 1960s while in Sovana the ciliegiolo comes from vineyards that derive from a massal selection of the oldest vines and were planted between 1995 and 2003. The grapes are harvested and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place without the addition of yeasts and lasts, including maceration, between 15 and 20 days. It matures for a few months in steel.

That of Poggio Nibbiale is a special story, which begins far away, in Germany... The Buchheim family had always dreamed of having a vineyard in Tuscany. The grapes for this unique wine, made from 100% Sangiovese, are exclusively grown on a special hill slope on Poggio Nibbiale. They are handpicked and post-selected prior to vinification. Tommaso Poggio Nibbiale is perfect to match Matured cheese and Red meats. With this wine, Poggio Nibbiale intends to develop the full potential of the indigenous Sangiovese grapes. Consequently, the pure terroir of Poggio Nibbiale – characterized by the close Tyrrhenian sea – emerges most prominently within the Tommaso. Rocca di Frassinello
The winery Rocca di Frassinello, is located in the high Maremma, near Gavorrano, and was designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano. The project is super ambitious and sees the collaboration of two world-famous wineries in this project: Castellare di Castellina and Lafite, the famous French chateau. At the Tenuta Montauto they are definitely lucky. There is nothing around them: only the silence as far as the eye can see of the thick Maremma woods, the wind, the hares and the hawks. There are no factories, no towns, no neighbours, no roads except the provincial road to Campigliola. An isolation that allows them to make uncompromising choices, in total freedom and with an absoluteness that comes from being released from the world. Besides isolation, they also have the good fortune of the providential sea air that always blows in from the west. The sea cannot be seen, but it can be felt in the wind that blows from Capalbio, which is only 10 km away as the crow flies. A wind that dries the vines and heals them from humidity.

Morellino di Scansano Riserva Fattoria le Pupille
The Riserva represents the roots of Fattoria Le Pupille. Originally called 'Rosso di Pereta', it is the first wine produced by the estate, which then became Morellino di Scansano when the appellation was created in 1978.

Fattoria Le Pupille
The Le Pupille farm is located in Istia d’Ombrone, a small village on the outskirts of Grosseto;
in 1985 Elisabetta Geppetti, at that time a young girl of 20, took the reins of the winery; thanks to her, in 1982 the winery’s first ‘official’ label came out, a Morellino Riserva vintage 1978. In 1987 it was the turn of Saffredi, the wine that made the excellence of Maremma known far beyond its borders, soon becoming a true jewel of Italian oenology.
Even today, the company is still expanding, continuing the pursuit of quality in Maremma.

Botrosecco 2021 has a ruby red colour. The nose is dominated by notes of ripe small red fruits such as currants and sour cherries, in harmony with delicate nuances of white pepper, tobacco and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is pleasant and persistent, with enveloping tannins and an intense finish of fresh fruit and cocoa.
Botrosecco DOC Le Mortelle
Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes, carefully selected at harvest, were destemmed and gently crushed and transferred to stainless steel tanks; here alcoholic fermentation took place at a temperature of around 25 °C in order to enhance the characteristic varietal aromatic component and maintain greater fruit integrity. During maceration, which lasted about 15 days, appropriate soaking of the pomace cap was carried out to extract only the most valuable tannins. The wine was then transferred to stainless steel tanks, where malolactic fermentation took place and was completed by the end of the year. Botrosecco rested 9 months in barriques before ageing in bottles.
Le Mortelle:
Fattoria Le Mortelle is located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, just a few kilometres from Castiglione della Pescaia, in an extraordinary and fascinating position both for its nature and for the history of the places that surround it. Since 1999, the family has been working on both the vineyards and the new wine cellar with the conviction that the area, still emerging in the Italian wine scene, is highly suited to the production of quality wines and that the characteristics of the terroir and the varieties cultivated can be best expressed here. The farm extends over 270 hectares, 170 of which are planted with vines. The 170 hectares of vineyards are mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, in addition to more recent plantings of white varieties such as Vermentino, Ansonica and Viognier, and a small proportion of Carménère. The soil, of medium texture, sandy and loamy, has a predominantly siliceous-clayey composition and is, in certain areas, rich in skeleton.

This wine has an intense, dark and dense ruby red colour. The nose offers fruity notes of blackberries, blueberries and sour cherries together with fragrant hints of cloves and vanilla. Its bouquet is complemented by light notes of tobacco. The palate is rich and captivating: velvety tannins support a long, lingering finish defined by hints of bitter chocolate and mint.
Vie Cave Fattoria Aldobrandesca, Vinification:
The freshly harvested grapes were brought to the cellar, destemmed, gently pressed and transferred to stainless steel tanks. The first stage was pre-fermentation cold maceration performed by lowering the temperature to 5-10 °C (41-50 °F) for 3 to 4 days in order to extract aromatic compounds and anthocyanins from the skins. The must temperature was then gradually increased to allow alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 30 °C (86 °F). The maceration techniques were carried out gently for the controlled extraction of soft tannins over a period of about one week. The wine was transferred to French oak barrels to complete malolactic fermentation and begin ageing for approximately 10 months. Vie Cave 2021 was bottle-aged for a further period before being released for sale.

The Fattoria Aldobrandesca estate is in rural Maremma located inland in an area known as the Tuff Area. Ancient civilizations built fascinating medieval fortresses and settlements on steep tuff bluffs that today are open-air museums. Fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature for 20/30 days, malolactic fermentation and maturation take place in 300lt Barriques in medium-toasted allier French oak for 3/4 months, bottle ageing lasts approximately 3 months

The Val Del Melo winery is located near the town of Castiglione della Pescaia, its proximity to the sea combined with its location at the bottom of the valley means that Pian di Rocca is characterised by a particularly temperate microclimate, 2-3 degrees higher than the local average. It is no coincidence that for years the area was the production site for the first fruits and vegetables of the Maremma. Since 2019, the company has been using certified organic farming, which guarantees genuine products of excellent quality
In Attesa DOC, Vinification:
On arrival at the winery, the grapes are destemmed and left almost intact. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a temperature of 27 °C and maceration lasts about 25/30 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. After about a few months, the wine is filtered and bottled.
