PietraNova is located in Tuscany in the Bolgheri D.O.C. area, one of the most prestigious territories for the important production of wines of the highest quality, recognised by Italian and foreign consumers. Bolgheri DOC Casa al Piano Pietranova:
There are no passages in wood, so vinification and ageing take place only in steel. The result is an intense, compact ruby red wine with fresh, ethereal aromas and notes of small red fruits, violets and roses. On tasting, the wine is fresh and appealing, ready and easy to drink. The taste-olfactory balance is excellent and the finely mineral finish is pleasant.
Cantaloro Rosso IGT Avignonesi, Tasting notes:
The bouquet is dominated by inviting aromas of ripe cherries, blueberries and sweet spices. The palate is medium structured, velvety and fruity, with persistent final notes reminiscent of Mediterranean scrub and light mentholated hints.
Sangiovese 60% Merlot 25% Cabernet Sauvignon 15% Cantaloro is the ideal Avignonesi wine for every day, a young and versatile wine.
Avignonesi, winery in Val di Chiana

Tasting Notes:
This unique wine combines the solar energy of Sangiovese with the refined finesse of Pinot Noir. The blend reveals an unexpected balance: the depth of Tuscany tempered by the delicacy of Burgundy. The colour is bright ruby, slightly translucent. The nose opens with notes of black cherry, ripe strawberry, with subtle hints of undergrowth, blond tobacco and sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is soft, supported by a pleasant acidity. The tannic texture is fine, taut and precise. A wine of character and elegance, to be served slightly chilled.
La Corneta:
Rooted in Tuscany, in the heart of the prestigious Chianti Colli Aretini terroir, La Corneta bears the mark of time and the seasons. The wines are produced from 8 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards, where historic grape varieties coexist with rarer ones: Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Incrocio Manzoni. This diversity, combined with living soils and controlled yields, provides health and expressive raw materials. The approach is then based on rigorous vinification and careful selection of the containers for ageing: temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, barriques and tonneaux of different sizes and vintages, terracotta and cocciopesto amphorae are tools that are used with precision. This meticulous, contemporary and demanding method is part of a constant search for balance, structure and natural complexity, without standardising taste.

The name Commendatore honours the memory of my great-grandfather Michele Giusti, who was awarded the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic on 27 December 1974. Commendatore is made from Syrah grapes and aged in barriques.
It has an intense ruby red colour and aromas of black pepper, violet and wild berries. Robust body, elegant tannins, pairs well with grilled meats and game. Very persistent finish. Serve at 18-20°C.

Winemaker Gabriele Mazzeschi has eight hectares of vineyards cultivated with Sangiovese, Syrah, Trebbiano and Malvasia, with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon and Canaiolo. In addition to producing excellent wines, Gabriele Mazzeschi's Le Capanne winery also grows around 6000 olive trees. The conditions are optimal, gravelly soil in the Tuscan hills at an altitude of 350-450 metres above sea level. Villa Di Capezzana, Tasting notes:
Elegant, with notes of black cherry and raspberry well blended with the ripe fruit. In the mouth it is soft, enveloping, with soft tannins and good body. The acidity is present, but well balanced by the tannic richness. Long finish, with a sweet liquorice aftertaste.
A very small and perhaps little-known DOC, but with wines of great quality. On the outskirts of Florence, wine has always been produced at Tenuta Capezzana.

Renzo Marinai
Renzo Marinai's estate is named after the nearby ancient church of San Martino. Renzo Marinai himself took over the estate in 1996 and, with the support of oenologist Giovanni Cappelli, completely reorganised its operations, converting it into an entirely organic farm. The estate covers about 33 hectares; just over eight are planted with vines. The terrain is undulating, rising and falling between 350 and 500 metres above sea level. The soil is marly, perfect for Sangiovese, allowing good drainage and the development of deep roots.

Intense and lively ruby. Enveloping and alive on the nose, slightly balsamic, with notes of vanilla, cassis, tobacco, mint and black cherry. Taste composed and taut, dense tannins very well integrated. Final of excellent length.

That of Poggio Nibbiale is a special story, which begins far away, in Germany... The Buchheim family had always dreamed of having a vineyard in Tuscany. Their wish came true when the Poggio Nibbiale winery was founded in 1998. Their dream of cultivating wine in the beautiful scenery of southern Tuscany became reality. The vineyards of Poggio Nibbiale are located in the hills of Maremma between Scansano and Magliano, 300 metres above the Tyrrhenian Sea, with a magnificent view of Giglio Island, Elba, Montecristo and the Monte Argentario peninsula.

The grapes for this unique wine, made from 100% Sangiovese, are exclusively grown on a special hill slope on Poggio Nibbiale. They are handpicked and post-selected prior to vinification. Tommaso Poggio Nibbiale is perfect to match Matured cheese and Red meats. With this wine, Poggio Nibbiale intends to develop the full potential of the indigenous Sangiovese grapes. Consequently, the pure terroir of Poggio Nibbiale – characterized by the close Tyrrhenian sea – emerges most prominently within the Tommaso. The wine ages for 24 months in oak wood barrels of the first and second passage. With barren elegance, balanced acidity, and soft tannins it presents the character and uniqueness of this classic Italian grape variety.
Grifi IGT Avignonesi, Tasting notes:
The wine reveals notes of blueberries, blackberries, incense, herbs, and sandalwood. With hints of blackberry jam and cinnamon. The palate develops like a balsamic explosion supported by a strong acidity. The lively tannin on the whole palate accompanies the savoury and persistent finish.
An incredible blend where the freshness of Sangiovese (50%) blends perfectly with the backbone of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%). Another excellent example of a great blend for aging.

The winery was created through the redevelopment of a beautiful 30-year-old vineyard in Maremma that gave birth to Fihaia Rosso 2021 and 2022. The project was born to create a wine community made according to traditional and simple methods, aimed at freshness and that is great for both ready drinking and bottle aging.
The wines of this reality are united thanks to each other and distinguished by innovative winemaking, whole cluster fermentations and prolonged carbonic macerations, early harvests and lower ph, these methods are implemented mainly to reduce the impact of climate change that increasingly leads to over-ripening of grapes
Prasio IGT Terradonnà, Tasting notes:
Intense ruby red colour, on the nose aromas of myrtle and eucalyptus emerge together with blueberry and blackcurrant berries, dark chocolate and a hint of leather and spices. In the mouth it is warm and soft, with good structure, velvety tannins and a long finish.
A blend of Merlot (50%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) of Val di Cornia where international grape varieties have their highest expression. The result is a full-bodied but elegant wine, complex for its tertiary aromas that derive from the characteristics of the soil rich in clay and minerals.

Val di Cornia DOC Okenio Terradonnà, Tasting notes:
An impenetrable ruby-red mantle, the elegant and powerful bouquet highlights blackberry and cassis against a background of humus and fern; it then hints at balsamic resins, coffee and cinnamon. It has a remarkable structure with dense tannins. The alcoholic component is properly integrated in the progression thanks to the contribution of a generous sapidity. The finish is persistent and elegant.
Okenio is the commander of the Terradonnà winery, the highest expression of the territory of Suvereto and the Val di Cornia in a pure cabernet sauvignon (100%). They have been producing this wine since 2002 and it has made them known in the world of enology. The high quality obtained with great tenacity and every year is the greatest challenge. Produced with manual selection of the best grapes in the vineyard, slow maceration in vitrified cement vats for 24 days, malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques where it remains for 14 months. Fruity and with a nice spiciness. In the mouth the taste is deep, but lively and well balanced. Long and intense finish.
The Rocca di Frassinello wine is perfect with first courses, red meats, and aged cheeses. It has an intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. A wine that manages to combine strength, intensity and elegance, with soft tannins that make it round in the mouth. On the nose it is fruity and with a nice spiciness. In the mouth, the taste is deep, but lively and with good balance.

The winery Rocca di Frassinello, is located in the high Maremma, near Gavorrano, and was designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano. The project is super ambitious and sees the collaboration of two world-famous wineries in this project: Castellare di Castellina and Lafite, the famous French chateau. Castello di Monsanto
There are two places at Castello di Monsanto that capture every visitor for the charm and the magic that is perceived: the Poggio’s hill and the historic cellar. Being able to transmit at least a tenth of the emotions you experience visiting the Monsanto winery is very difficult. The aromas, the echoes, the silences, the layers of noble molds make it a unique place that deserves at least one visit. The company has its origin from here. So from a climb on the Poggio and from a descent into the cellar, the idea of making a Cru in Chianti Classico was born for the first time. It was 1962 when the first 6,000 bottles of the Chianti Classico Riserva Il Poggio were produced. Of the 72 hectares planted with vineyards, between 260 and 310 meters s.l.m., 56 ha are in Sangiovese, the vine in which the company has deeply believed from the beginning. The Sangiovese clones present in the vineyards come from a mass selection of vines found in the vineyard Il Poggio, “the mother” of all the vineyards of Monsanto. In a small percentage are then present the two historical vines of the Chianti Classico vine: Canaiolo and Colorino.

The Guicciardini Strozzi family boasts over a thousand years of history. Wine producers since time immemorial (since 994), have several estates scattered throughout Tuscany with deep roots in the territory and prominent personalities among their ancestors. One of the most illustrious is Lisa Gherardini del Giocondo, better known as La Gioconda or more simply Mona Lisa, immortalized in the most famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci; the current members of the family represent the fifteenth generation of descent.

Wine of a brilliant ruby colour, rich bouquet on the nose of ripe black cherry, undergrowth, plums and blackberry jam. Intense and soft at the same time, thanks to ripe tannins that delicately envelop the palate. A wine that enhances the characteristics of Sangiovese, with great structure and ease of drinking. Chianti Classico Gran Selezione La Sala is a wine that is perfect in combination with red game meat. 100% Sangiovese selected and harvested by hand from a single vineyard of 1.5 hectares. Vinification begins with the use of indigenous yeasts for fermentation, which lasts about two weeks. Maceration for three weeks at controlled temperatures not exceeding 25°C. After that a long aging of 36 months in a single 38hl un-toasted French oak barrel. Bottle aging Minimum 6 months.

Wine created from a selection of grapes from the vineyards of Il Torriano (300 metres above sea level), in Montefiridolfi. In these hills, which have always been ideal for growing our best Sangiovese, Patrizia Cateni planted her first vineyard using modern methods. San Polo
San Polo is situated on the south-eastern slope of Montalcino hill, at an altitude of 450 metres, the 22 hectares of the estate, 16 of which are planted with Sangiovese, are characterized by a dry, breezy microclimate, with wide diurnal and seasonal temperature swings. In the cellar, an admirable example of bio-architecture, designed to minimize energy consumption and environmental impact, the grapes are processed with artisan care to enhance the finesse of the Sangiovese aromas. The essence of San Polo, in fact, is to take the wines back to the vineyard that generated them, so as to express the concept of terroir to the full. Beautiful bouquet, with notes of dill, liquorice, cigar and delicate hints of violet. The palate is rich, the tannins are silky and overall it is a typical expression of the territory.
Grandi Annate Avignonesi (literally best years) is produced exclusively in the best vintages when the conditions are right to create a pure Sangiovese (100%) that stands out for its character, structure, and aging potential.
Avignonesi, winery in Val di Chiana
The producer, Avignonesi extend in the Montepulciano and Cortona areas (in the Val di Chiana in the province of Arezzo) ensuring a diversified spectrum of soils that allows the production of a Vino Nobile di Montepulciano that authentically expresses the complexity of the terroir, while the Val di Chiana is suitable for the cultivation of other grape varieties such as Merlot, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Intense ruby red. Combined perfumes of wild berries and spices notes. Full-bodied and lively taste, well structured, dense and deep tannins. Long and pleasant ending. Elegant and harmonious.
“Vedetta” is a special selection of Cabernet Sauvignon. It is produced only in the best vintages (and just 1000 bottles) and is packaged to be comfortably handled by visually impaired people. The thick bottle protects from impact and keeps the wine’s qualities better, while the label, written in Braille print, includes a “Qr-code” that provides audio information regarding the wine and the winery.
Cantina La Cura
The Cantina La Cura, owned by Enrico Corsi, is a young and dynamic production company consisting of fifteen hectares of vineyards in the heart of the denomination Maremma Toscana Doc and Monteregio di Massa Marittima, located in the high Maremma Toscana on the Tyrrhenian coast. The main varieties hosted are Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Aleatico for a total annual production of 30 thousand bottles. The company favors an ecological approach to the processing of soil and vines, coordinated by the University of Pisa, which is also its main technical partner. The first bottles of wine date back to 1999.

A complex, fragrant wine, rich in aromas of black fruit, such as blueberry and blackberry jam. It is balsamic and floral, well balanced with some spicy hints of tobacco, vanilla and black pepper. Full-bodied, with velvety, compact tannins and long ageing potential.
Sancta Catharina combines the drinkability of Sangiovese typical of Montepulciano with the fruitiness of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine was created with the aim of bringing out the potential of the Montepulciano area: soil that is perfect for Sangiovese, and at the same time capable of enhancing other grape varieties.
Cantine Dei
Cantine Dei is known as one of the best wine producers of Montepulciano. Every year their wines are awarded and recognized by critics as excellent.
At the Dei estate, arts merges with wine. Their cellar is the perfect example of how architecture and winemaking are working together for a stunning result.
Their wine are all based on the local Sangiovese production and their Nobile wine are among the best of the region.

Characterized by fruity notes of currant and cherry emerge sensations of tobacco and spices deriving from the careful refinement in wood. Very compact, with notes of vanilla and chocolate, with sweet and soft tannins and a persistent acidity typical of the Sangiovese variety| good is the persistence on the palate and the complexity of the aftertaste.

Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva typical ruby red colour, which has a tendency to become garnet red as the wine ages. The nose has an intense aroma of violets and an elegance that is enhanced over time. Castello di Monsanto
There are two places at Castello di Monsanto that capture every visitor for the charm and the magic that is perceived: the Poggio’s hill and the historic cellar. Being able to transmit at least a tenth of the emotions you experience visiting the Monsanto winery is very difficult. The aromas, the echoes, the silences, the layers of noble molds make it a unique place that deserves at least one visit. The company has its origin from here. So from a climb on the Poggio and from a descent into the cellar, the idea of making a Cru in Chianti Classico was born for the first time. It was 1962 when the first 6,000 bottles of the Chianti Classico Riserva Il Poggio were produced. Of the 72 hectares planted with vineyards, between 260 and 310 meters s.l.m., 56 ha are in Sangiovese, the vine in which the company has deeply believed from the beginning. The Sangiovese clones present in the vineyards come from a mass selection of vines found in the vineyard Il Poggio, “the mother” of all the vineyards of Monsanto. In a small percentage are then present the two historical vines of the Chianti Classico vine: Canaiolo and Colorino.

Is complex and the hints of black fruit (blackberry and blueberry in particular) clearly prevail. Raspberry, morello cherry, blackberry and plum, followed by roasted notes of cocoa, vanilla and coffee. On the palate is soft and enveloping, with fine and elegant tannins. Warm, soft and very balanced The finish is long and harmonious with a distinct fruity aftertaste.
Tuscany is a land of excellence for Merlot. Castellare merlot, thanks to the special location of the vineyard, has a rare personality. Since the first vintage it was defined as a monument to wine excellence.
