The merlot found in Tuscany, especially in the stretch of coast that goes from Bolgheri to the Maremma, its perfect habitat. Very famous are in fact the great pure merlot produced in this coastal area. just think of the big names of Bolgheri like the Masseto and the Messorio. Passione Toscana, instead, wants to offer you this great Tuscan Merlot: Merlot Cantina La Cura that won many category awards, including the first prize for the best Italian Merlot with the 2008 vintage, which you can buy at a very advantageous price compared to the classic Bolgheri merlot. The Cantina La Cura, owned by Enrico Corsi, is a young and dynamic production company consisting of fifteen hectares of vineyards in the heart of the denomination Maremma Toscana Doc and Monteregio di Massa Marittima, located in the high Maremma Toscana on the Tyrrhenian coast. The main varieties hosted are Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Aleatico for a total annual production of 30 thousand bottles. The company favors an ecological approach to the processing of soil and vines, coordinated by the University of Pisa, which is also its main technical partner. The first bottles of wine date back to 1999. Among the recent labels, the “Vedetta” is worthy of mention. This is a special selection of cabernet sauvignon produced only in the best vintages.

Our priority is to pack and ship the products as safely as possible. Wine and oil bottles are shipped with special cardboard protections, there will be no breakages.

All cold cuts and cheeses are vacuum sealed. In summer we also use dry ice and coolers to keep products fresh and their quality intact.
