Unit price perBeach Honey Sapori Mediterranei
€12,90
Unit price perUnique Honey:
A unique thousand-flower variety, in fact this honey is produced 'uniquely' along the marine coastline of the Migliarino 'San Rossore' Natural Park. Another special feature of this honey is the importance of the Helichrysum flower, which is not normally recognised as a nectariferous species. From it, in fact, the bees of the Littoral are able to collect the microscopic drops of essential oils that give the honey its unmistakable aroma.
Unique honey How to Use:
Given its particularity, we recommend using this honey raw, as it is excellent with both fresh and mature cheeses.
Sapori Mediterranei:
The company is located within the San Rossore Estate and its activity consists mainly in the production of organic honey. In fact, since its establishment, an organic line of management has been chosen, which implies a more careful evaluation of the company’s choices in relation to the care of the breeding and is currently certified by the Consorzio Controllo Prodotti Biologici (CCPB). The company’s main product is the famous ‘beach honey’, the unique product of apiaries located within the park, in the coastal area, which is particularly characteristic and identifiable with the territory described above.

The bees are bred using natural methods and their stay is not forced in any way. The surrounding land is rich in exceptional flora, such as Mediterranean scrub, tall trees, olive groves, bramble plants and flower gardens, which ensures that the bees can collect nectar from a wide variety of blooms, creating an inimitable honey with an amber colour and a delicate, creamy flavour.
Honey extraction and ingredients:
The honey is extracted cold to preserve the enzymes, vitamins and antioxidants. Due to the presence of pollen from various floras, the honey is organoleptically more complete than monofloral honeys.
Prepared from honey and ginger without preservatives, colouring agents or flavourings.
Ingredients:
Honey 98.9%, ground chilli 1.1%.
Scovaventi
Podere Scovaventi was founded by Luca De Filippo and Carolina Rosi, who used to come here to retreat and regenerate in the breaks between theatre tours.
Having fallen in love with the countryside, expert gourmets, Carolina and Luca slowly began to restore the farmhouse, improve the soil and prepare preserves with the many products the garden offered them.
In 2015, they acquire olive groves in the vicinity of the company with other native varieties, thus taking production from family consumption to external distribution. In the same 2015, however, Luca passed away and Carolina decided to pursue this dream alone.
The company creates many varieties of products in its territory, pickles, jams, honeys and many others; the quality of these products comes from tradition and love for the land and its fruits.
