Opgericht in 1959 is RetròGusto een jong bedrijf met wortels die stevig verankerd zijn in de tradities van het Toscaanse gebied. In 1968 verhuisde RetròGusto naar Grosseto en begon het aan zijn reis om uit te groeien tot wat nu een van de beste banketbakkerijen van Toscane is. Alle producten worden met de hand gemaakt volgens oude recepten die door de tijd heen zijn doorgegeven, en dit garandeert dat elk product uniek en onnavolgbaar is. Baba in jar Retrogusto
Prepared by artisans, meticulously following traditions. The long kneading process makes the dough soft, then it is soaked with a high quality Jamaica Rum, and cooked in a glass jar using the vacuum technique, which gives the baba a shelf life of 6 months without the addition of preservatives, even without refrigeration.
