Sweet taste, perfect with dry pastry and cantucci
Vin Santo di San Gimignano DOC Guicciardini Strozzi

These extend on some of the many hills of the Fattoria, in terrains of tufaceous-calcareous nature with an ampelographic base consisting mainly of the Sangiovese grape, then of the Alicante, Cabernet Sauvignon, Morellino, Merlot, Canaiolo Nero, Black Malvasia, Ciliegiolo, Vermentino Bianco vines. , White Sauvignon. The Mantellassi Farm has contributed significantly to the establishment of the Morellino di Scansano Denomination of Controlled Origin in 1978 and is considered one of the most prestigious manufacturing companies.
Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOCCastellare di Castellina, Tasting notes:
Vibrant amber colour. The nose is bursting with dried fruit, honey, caramel and candied fruit. On the palate it is broad and enveloping, leaving a sensation of chestnut flour and a long, pleasant finish.
Neither too dry nor too sweet. Produced in strict accordance with tradition, but with Malvasia Bianca and a small amount of Trebbiano grapes dried out in an aired area and not on “cannicci” (special wicker surfaces). And then in half-barriques with 20 to 30 year old deposits (“madri”). There’s never enough.

Nantropò Ansonica Passito IGT, Tasting notes:
Scents of ntense fruity, dried apricot and orange zest in evidence, notes of tropical fruits and flowers to complete the bouquet. On the palete has a dense and structured, decidedly pleasant and drinkable, by great wealth and complexity, balanced and very persistent.
Nantropò Ansonica Passito IGT
From the ansonica grapes of Capel Rosso, bathed in sunlight and squeezed between granite and the sea, comes the Nantropò Passito. These are extreme conditions that only “expert” vines over 80 years old can withstand and produce, even though with minimal quantities, an exceptional wine. The producer, the Fontuccia company, is one of the very few winegrowers on the island of Giglio. Heroic viticulture because their vineyards are small terraces on granite rocks overlooking the sea. The harvest is done by hand, as it was 80 years ago because even the use of tractors is impossible.
Fontuccia
Fontuccia dedicated everything to the island life and their passion is infinite, which viticulture today calls “heroic”. An archaic knowledge that they have chosen to protect, enhancing specificities and the beauty of their territory with this wine. They are one of the very few winegrowers on the island of Giglio. Heroic viticulture because their vineyards are small terraces on granite rocks overlooking the sea. The harvest is done by hand, as it was 80 years ago because even the use of tractors is impossible.
Cristino Aleatico Passito IGT, Tasting notes:
Intense aromas of sour cherries, myrtle, maquis and aromatic herbs. Sweet, tasty, fragrant, long taste.
Cristino Aleatico Passito IGT
Aleatico passito from Capraia Island. The La Piana farm, recovering old abandoned land on the island, produces only 1500 bottles of this wine a year. A 100% Aleatico Passito, grown in the middle of the sea, on an unspoiled island where the gentle Mediterranean winds blow.
La Piana
The organic farm La Piana Capraia is located on the island of Capraia, within the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. The area to which it belongs, called “Il Piano S. Stefano”, is a magical and uncontaminated place where aromas, sounds, colors, and traditions blend with ancient tastes and knowledge, in which time seems to have stopped. The landscape, guarded by the agricultural presence, is designed by the discontinuity of vine rows in the Mediterranean scrub, terracing, dry stone walls, ancient cisterns, and by native ornamental species such as oleander, rosemary, ancient rose;

It reveals a complex and enveloping bouquet with aromas of prunes and dates, propolis, gingerbread, malaga and tobacco. Occhio di Pernice a 100% sangiovese wine
This amazing Vin santo is the result of an exceptionally long aging process during which more than half of this precious liquid evaporates. It has been calculated that with the same quantity of grapes used to produce one of their 375 ml bottles, twenty-four 750 ml bottles of wine can be produced. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, this is the result of a strict selection of the best grapes, drying for many months on bamboo mats in the appassitoio and then 10 years in oak barrels, in contact with the mother, indigenous yeast more than 100 years old. The wine is perfect as a Meditation wine, but also with dry pastry as Cantucci Toscani or Chocolate.
