Peposo IGT Podere Montale
Podere Montale, was founded in July 2014 but found its true beginning with the first harvest of the 2015 vintage. The story is all to be written. The will and the road taken in these years is to create a well-integrated reality on a territorial and social level, which can be a flagship for the entire community and for the name of Montecucco. The marl soil on which the company stands is very suitable for wine production, being located in a place that enjoys the constant ventilation of the sea and the protection of Monte Amiata.

A wine with a rich and harmonious bouquet, it presents fruity notes of red berries enveloped by hints of tobacco and chocolate, the taste is fine with a soft and long lasting finish
The grapes are destemmed and left almost entirely intact. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 27 degrees and maceration lasts about 25/30 days, followed by melolactic fermentation. Ageing takes place in 10hl French oak barrels for approximately 12 months, after which the wine is blended and bottled.

The grapes for this unique wine, made from 100% Sangiovese, are exclusively grown on a special hill slope on Poggio Nibbiale. They are handpicked and post-selected prior to vinification. Tommaso Poggio Nibbiale is perfect to match Matured cheese and Red meats. With this wine, Poggio Nibbiale intends to develop the full potential of the indigenous Sangiovese grapes. Consequently, the pure terroir of Poggio Nibbiale – characterized by the close Tyrrhenian sea – emerges most prominently within the Tommaso. The wine ages for 24 months in oak wood barrels of the first and second passage. The history of Brancaia began in 1980 when the Widmer family, of Swiss origin, bought the Podere Brancaia in Castellina in Chianti as a summer residence in Tuscany. Bruno and Brigitte Widmer decided to produce only wines of the highest quality. The history of Gramineta goes back about two centuries. The ancestors of the family that founded the company, in order to escape from malaria, a disease that was very present in the coastal area in the 1800s, were forced to sell their possessions and land in the Castiglione della Pescaia area to buy land in the Roccastrada area to cultivate olive trees and vines. They have always preferred the choice of a healthy and genuine agriculture far from large-scale production and the use of substances that encourage production at the expense of the quality of the final product. Today, they are producers of many high quality products, especially extra virgin olive oil, thanks to the suitable soil that enhances the native cultivars.

IL PINGRO is a young business run by Chiara and Margherita: two cousins determined to breathe new life into the old family vineyards. Only 1 km from the sea, in the province of Grosseto, our vines grow on sandy and mineral soils, shaken by the gusts of the Mistral: that is why our wine tastes of the sea. Produced by four hands along the coast of the Tuscan Maremma, GR1 5652 is made from native Ansonica and Procanico grapes. The end result reflects us and our land. Our philosophy is based on healthy and respectful agriculture: every step of the process is done by hand. What we offer is a simple wine, but made with care. Inspired by the taste of the farmer's wine. IL PINGRO comes from 'il Pingrosso', the name of the place where we are located. In the middle of the field is a large maritime pine tree that our great-grandfather planted to find some shade on hot summer days. This pine tree, which grew solitary, became a 'big pine tree' in width, hence the name Pingrosso. Shortened to Pingro, for simplicity's sake. Today that pine has become our symbol, impossible not to notice.

“Vedetta” is a special selection of Cabernet Sauvignon. It is produced only in the best vintages (and just 1000 bottles) and is packaged to be comfortably handled by visually impaired people. The thick bottle protects from impact and keeps the wine’s qualities better, while the label, written in Braille print, includes a “Qr-code” that provides audio information regarding the wine and the winery.
Cantina La Cura
The Cantina La Cura, owned by Enrico Corsi, is a young and dynamic production company consisting of fifteen hectares of vineyards in the heart of the denomination Maremma Toscana Doc and Monteregio di Massa Marittima, located in the high Maremma Toscana on the Tyrrhenian coast. The main varieties hosted are Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Aleatico for a total annual production of 30 thousand bottles. The company favors an ecological approach to the processing of soil and vines, coordinated by the University of Pisa, which is also its main technical partner. The first bottles of wine date back to 1999.

Avvoltore grapes are collected from vineyards planted on the “Poggio dell’Avvoltore” hill. Its clay-limestone soil produces a strong and powerful tannin, felt when savoring the wine. Moris Farm
Two hundred years ago, the Moris family reached the Tuscan Maremma, a place of wonder and wine: the dream came true! A sincere love for a virgin land. A love made of a great passion for wine, which in these fields finds its best environment. Generation after generation, the Moris family focused on wine and its production. The altitude varies from 80 to 100 m above sea level and the vineyard is on the southwest side.
Monteverro, Tasting notes:
Deep dark ink with touches of red velvet on the rim. On the nose is complex with notes fruits like blackcurrant, red cherry and blueberries with touches of black pepper, cedar that evolves on black olive and underbrush. On the palate has a Balance entrance with a silky mouthfeel lifted by a great acidity lingering on dark fruit like cassis evolving on a dense structure with chocolate, tobacco box and black cherry.
Monteverro’s flagship. A true Premier Grand Cru of Maremma, made from the classic Bordeaux grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot and yet with the unmistakable character of the Tuscan coast. The grapes are exclusively from prime locations on Monteverro slopes which flow gently to the sea, the wine is aged for about 24 months in barriques from the best coopers and then for two years in the bottle.

The Monteverro estate is located at the foot of the medieval village of Capalbio, in the southernmost part of Tuscany, the Maremma. A genuine passion for wine dictates that no compromises are made in the manual processing and selection of grapes during the harvest, to finally bring each grape variety, each terroir and each vintage to its maximum expression, with precision and by adopting innovative winemaking techniques.
