Castello Tricerchi
Castello Tricerchi boasts splendid vineyards located entirely on the northern slope of Montalcino, characterised by cool temperatures and marked temperature swings. The 13 hectares are cultivated exclusively with the Sangiovese Grosso variety, subdivided into 7 parcels cultivated with spurred cordon and guyot: the Vigna del Velo, named after the chapel above it dedicated to the Virgin of the Veil, the Vigna del Castello, Vigna di Sant’Anna, del Lago, dei Cipressi, del Piano and the Vigna Nuova. The soil has a rich and heterogeneous structure with the presence of calcareous clays and sand, and the prevailing north and west exposures guarantee very balanced ripening. Bolgheri Rosso Pievi Fabio Motta:
Harvesting takes place when the grapes are fully ripe, fermentation is carried out exclusively with natural yeasts in cement tanks, the cap is submerged manually for the duration of fermentation, which lasts approximately 2 weeks for each variety. After racking and spontaneous malolactic fermentation, the wines are normally blended before the end of the year, after which they are aged for a year in unglazed cement vats. After the appropriate filtrations, it is bottled and rests for at least 6 months in the bottle
Fabio Motta:
Fabio Motta’s company started out with a small plot of land comprising 4 hectares of vines about 20 years old and then grew to about 7 hectares. The company’s small size allows the producer to personally follow every aspect step by step from cultivation to vinification, guaranteeing a process that is taken care of down to the smallest detail. Castello di Monsanto
There are two places at Castello di Monsanto that capture every visitor for the charm and the magic that is perceived: the Poggio’s hill and the historic cellar. Being able to transmit at least a tenth of the emotions you experience visiting the Monsanto winery is very difficult. The aromas, the echoes, the silences, the layers of noble molds make it a unique place that deserves at least one visit. The company has its origin from here. So from a climb on the Poggio and from a descent into the cellar, the idea of making a Cru in Chianti Classico was born for the first time. It was 1962 when the first 6,000 bottles of the Chianti Classico Riserva Il Poggio were produced. Of the 72 hectares planted with vineyards, between 260 and 310 meters s.l.m., 56 ha are in Sangiovese, the vine in which the company has deeply believed from the beginning. The Sangiovese clones present in the vineyards come from a mass selection of vines found in the vineyard Il Poggio, “the mother” of all the vineyards of Monsanto. In a small percentage are then present the two historical vines of the Chianti Classico vine: Canaiolo and Colorino.

The grapes are destemmed and fermented all together. Fermentation of the must takes place in cement vats for 2-3 weeks. The must is then transferred to steel vats to complete malolactic fermentation. After a couple of months, when the must has been clarified and decanted, half is transferred to steel vats, while the other half matures for 12 months in second-passage oak barrels.

Sangiovese grosso has found in montalcino a special terroir that, combined with the experience of the winegrowers, has created a legendary product famous throughout the world for its qualities.
Caprili
Caprili estate was founded in 1965 by Alfo Bartolomei and the first bottle of Brunello di Montalcino Caprili is the 1978 vintage, introduced on the market in 1983. The vineyards are raised by spurred cordon, they are at an altitude ranging from 225 to 340 m above sea level. The southwest exposure of the company, which looks towards the sea, enjoys the mitigating action of the winds that avoid stagnant humidity that can cause fungal attacks on the vineyards. Therefore the only interventions are based on contact substances such as copper and sulfur. The vinification follows the natural processes favoring the use of native yeasts, contained in the grapes themselves, this gives the wine its own precise territorial identity, easily recognizable and traceable. But at the same time never homologated in taste and perfumes, rather than following the changeability of the seasonal trend of the vintages, and expressing their particularity. The Caprili company covers an area of 58 hectares, southwest of the territory in the municipality of Montalcino, on the slope of the hill that slopes towards the Orcia and Ombrone rivers. The vineyard area is 15.5 hectares of which 14.5 are grown in Sangiovese Grosso from which Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC

They have been positioned by carefully studying the exposure of the plants to the various elements in order to recreate the best conditions for their adaptation and to make the most of each natural element.

Antonio Camillo:
Antonio Camillo’s wine cellar is located not far from Capalbio with vineyards extending over about nine hectares. They are mainly composed of old vines, between 40 and 50 years old. The varieties cultivated are obviously Ciliegiolo, with a small percentage destined for Vermentino and Sangiovese. Traditional working methods are followed between the rows, favouring manual operations and limiting interventions for health defence, using exclusively natural products such as copper and sulphur. Even in the cellar, the working method is oriented towards accompanying the wine in its natural course, trying to intervene as little as possible, without forcing the result of the harvest in any way. The wines that are signed each year by Antonio Camillo are recognisable by their elegant style, in which the balance of aromas and flavours is the ultimate goal.

That of Poggio Nibbiale is a special story, which begins far away, in Germany... The Buchheim family had always dreamed of having a vineyard in Tuscany. Selective harvesting by hand, destemming, pressing with a pneumatic press and subsequent fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After a period of bâtonnage, this wine matures in stainless steel tanks until bottling. In the case of the Vermentino grape variety, decantation and in particular the natural activity of the grape's own enzymes are of great importance. The grape variety is very demanding.

Only 1 km from the sea, in the province of Grosseto, our vines grow on sandy and mineral soils, shaken by the gusts of the Mistral: that is why our wine tastes of the sea. Produced by four hands along the coast of the Tuscan Maremma, GR1 5652 is made from native Ansonica and Procanico grapes. The end result reflects us and our land. Our philosophy is based on healthy and respectful agriculture: every step of the process is done by hand. What we offer is a simple wine, but made with care. Inspired by the taste of the farmer's wine. IL PINGRO comes from 'il Pingrosso', the name of the place where we are located. In the middle of the field is a large maritime pine tree that our great-grandfather planted to find some shade on hot summer days. This pine tree, which grew solitary, became a 'big pine tree' in width, hence the name Pingrosso. Shortened to Pingro, for simplicity's sake. Today that pine has become our symbol, impossible not to notice.

Vivia 2022 is straw yellow in colour with brilliant greenish highlights. The olfactory impact is intense and characterised by pleasant aromas of ripe fruit, such as pear, apple and pineapple, well in harmony with fine notes of orange blossom and chamomile; elegant citrus and Mediterranean herb sensations reminiscent of sage complete the bouquet. The palate is vibrant and savoury, with a final freshness that persists, showing hints of lemon and rosemary.
Vivia Bianco Maremma Toscana Le Mortelle
Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were softly pressed and vinified separately to bring out the characteristics of each variety. The must thus obtained was brought to a temperature of 10 °C for about 24 hours to favour its natural clarification; it was then transferred to stainless steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of 16 °C. Vivia matured briefly in stainless steel in contact with its yeasts for about 3 months before being bottled in January 2023.
Le Mortelle:
Fattoria Le Mortelle is located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, just a few kilometres from Castiglione della Pescaia, in an extraordinary and fascinating position both for its nature and for the history of the places that surround it. Since 1999, the family has been working on both the vineyards and the new wine cellar with the conviction that the area, still emerging in the Italian wine scene, is highly suited to the production of quality wines and that the characteristics of the terroir and the varieties cultivated can be best expressed here. The farm extends over 270 hectares, 170 of which are planted with vines. The 170 hectares of vineyards are mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, in addition to more recent plantings of white varieties such as Vermentino, Ansonica and Viognier, and a small proportion of Carménère. The soil, of medium texture, sandy and loamy, has a predominantly siliceous-clayey composition and is, in certain areas, rich in skeleton.

Straw yellow in colour, limpid and brilliant, with light greenish reflections. A wine with a strong character, the nose is intense, broad and expresses fruity notes: white-fleshed fruit, citrus fruits and light mineral tones. On the palate it is firm and balanced, with a marked minerality and tending to savoury. It possesses great freshness and convincing drinkability.
Bianco di Pitigliano DOC Vinification:
Before being pressed, the grapes are placed overnight in cold storage in order to have a greater extraction of aromas and to avoid oxidation. Soft pressing is then carried out. The grapes are then decanted for 36-48 hours. Fermentation takes place in white, without skin contact, in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 16°C. Vegan wine. All energy used during the production process comes from renewable sources.
Tenuta Montauto
At the Tenuta Montauto they are definitely lucky. There is nothing around them: only the silence as far as the eye can see of the thick Maremma woods, the wind, the hares and the hawks. There are no factories, no towns, no neighbours, no roads except the provincial road to Campigliola. An isolation that allows them to make uncompromising choices, in total freedom and with an absoluteness that comes from being released from the world. Besides isolation, they also have the good fortune of the providential sea air that always blows in from the west. The sea cannot be seen, but it can be felt in the wind that blows from Capalbio, which is only 10 km away as the crow flies. A wind that dries the vines and heals them from humidity.

Podere Montale
Podere Montale, was founded in July 2014 but found its true beginning with the first harvest of the 2015 vintage. The story is all to be written. The will and the road taken in these years is to create a well-integrated reality on a territorial and social level, which can be a flagship for the entire community and for the name of Montecucco. The marl soil on which the company stands is very suitable for wine production, being located in a place that enjoys the constant ventilation of the sea and the protection of Monte Amiata.

Rocca di Frassinello
The winery Rocca di Frassinello, is located in the high Maremma, near Gavorrano, and was designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano. The project is super ambitious and sees the collaboration of two world-famous wineries in this project: Castellare di Castellina and Lafite, the famous French chateau. The Maremma, in addition to being excellent for the local and Tuscan Sangiovese, is suitable for international vines such as Merlot and Cabernet.
