Ruby red in colour with violet hues, the bouquet is intense and elegant with notes of red fruit, jam and black pepper, the taste is elegant, persistent in its fruity notes and rich in enveloping tannins
Fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature for 20/30 days, malolactic fermentation and maturation take place in 300lt Barriques in medium-toasted allier French oak for 3/4 months, bottle ageing lasts approximately 3 months

The Cacciagrande winery is located among the wild, evocative Mediterranean scrub hills between the village of Tirli and the Etruscan site of Vetulonia, just 10 km from the town of Castiglione della Pescaia. From the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, this winery produces various types of wine of excellent quality. Their love, dedication and attention to detail ensure that their splendid wines are recognised for their quality.
