Monteverro
Monteverro estate is located at the foot of the medieval village of Capalbio, in the southernmost part of Tuscany, the Maremma. The estate is only 5 kilometers from the sea and is characterized by its characteristic slopes from the stony ground of red clay. But it is also people who make Monteverro so unique. Their authentic passion for wine requires them not to compromise on manual processing and the selection of grapes during the harvest, to finally bring each grape variety, each terroir and each vintage to its maximum expression, with precision and by adopting techniques of innovative winemaking. The Monteverro estate extends over three hills on an area of about 60 hectares, at a height between 30 and 80 meters above sea level. From the vineyards, you can see the Tyrrhenian Sea, which guarantees a constant breeze throughout the year.

Verruzzo IGT, Tasting notes:
Intense ruby with a touch of purple on the rim. On the nose: Rich expression of cherry, blueberry, blood orange and tomato sauce with some hints of cigar box. On the plate: Round entrance evolving on a framed mouthfeel with cherry muffin, cassis and laurel finishing on touches of plum and lilac.
The structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon, the aromaticity of the Cabernet Franc, the power of the Syrah and the softness of the Merlot, come together in a red wine with character, full of aromas and Italian elegance

Dark ruby with hints of purple and geranium on the rim. On the nose: Explosion of cherry, lavender and rosemary with touches of white pepper, lilac and hits blueberries. On the plate: Soft and fresh entrance evolving on velvety mouthfeel lingering on a backbone of acidity and raspberries, tomatoes lingering on cherries and tobacco.

An explosion of Mediterranean scrub and rose petals, this Tinata Monteverro is a wine with a very beautiful structure, intense and lively. It would be ideal to forget it for a few more years in the cellar: the aging will do nothing but enhance its innate elegance.

Monteverro, Tasting notes:
Deep dark ink with touches of red velvet on the rim. On the nose is complex with notes fruits like blackcurrant, red cherry and blueberries with touches of black pepper, cedar that evolves on black olive and underbrush. On the palate has a Balance entrance with a silky mouthfeel lifted by a great acidity lingering on dark fruit like cassis evolving on a dense structure with chocolate, tobacco box and black cherry.
Monteverro’s flagship. A true Premier Grand Cru of Maremma, made from the classic Bordeaux grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot and yet with the unmistakable character of the Tuscan coast. The grapes are exclusively from prime locations on Monteverro slopes which flow gently to the sea, the wine is aged for about 24 months in barriques from the best coopers and then for two years in the bottle.

Chardonnay Monteverro IGT, Tasting notes:
Pale gold color. The nose is lively with an explosion of white flesh peach, pear, lemon shortbread and mountain herbs with a finish of cedar and acacia honey. On the palate, however, it attacks fresh and exuberant on crisp notes of mango, grapefruit and plum finish.
A wine with a sublime ability to reflect the sunlight of the Maremma. Fresh and crisp notes intersect in a pure light of honey, lemon shortbread, perfect blonde grapes, mountain scents.” Despite the small production (about 5000 bottles per year), Monteverro considers its chardonnay as one of the most important wines of the winery
