When the Nannoni Grappe distillery was founded, there was no culture of distillation in Tuscany, the “marc” was mostly thrown in the chicken coop, and most of the grappa was produced in the region was destined for sale in bulk to northern Italy. The early days were tough, but before long the Montalcino wineries, and then all the other major Tuscan wineries, realized the great opportunity they were being offered, so a farmhouse in the middle of the Maremma became an international destination for Grappa lovers and tourists of good drinking, bringing their Grappa to the world and many enthusiasts to the Maremma. Grappa di Vin Santo Riserva Nannoni Grappe Tasting Notes:
The aromas of the pomace from grapes subjected and drying and enriching the bouquet with delicate notes of vanilla, almond and spices . Already at the first meeting, the notes of sultanas, figs and dates are clearly appreciated. The empty glass perfumes at the end of the tasting are fascinating.

Grappa di Brunello Riserva Nannoni Grappe Tasting Notes:
With a beautiful antique gold color with copper reflections, the nose reveals intense, clean and pleasant aromas; refined and elegant notes of chocolate, fig and dried plum, hazelnut, walnut, licorice, tobacco, honey. In the mouth it is intense, with an excellent correspondence to the nose. The finish is very persistent with long flavors of chocolate, dried fig, plum and hazelnut.

The colour is a lively golden, the nose releases a scent of fresh pomace, an immediate reminder of the Maremma grape harvest, then delicately combines the aromas of ageing in wood, then almond, honey and vanilla. The taste is balanced, enveloping and soft: perfect at the end of a meal.
