Tommaso IGT Poggio Nibbiale, Tasting notes:
Intense and lively ruby. Enveloping and alive on the nose, slightly balsamic, with notes of vanilla, cassis, tobacco, mint and black cherry. Taste composed and taut, dense tannins very well integrated. Final of excellent length.
Poggio Nibbiale
That of Poggio Nibbiale is a special story, which begins far away, in Germany... The Buchheim family had always dreamed of having a vineyard in Tuscany. Their wish came true when the Poggio Nibbiale winery was founded in 1998. Their dream of cultivating wine in the beautiful scenery of southern Tuscany became reality. The vineyards of Poggio Nibbiale are located in the hills of Maremma between Scansano and Magliano, 300 metres above the Tyrrhenian Sea, with a magnificent view of Giglio Island, Elba, Montecristo and the Monte Argentario peninsula.
Tommaso IGT Poggio Nibbiale
The grapes for this unique wine, made from 100% Sangiovese, are exclusively grown on a special hill slope on Poggio Nibbiale. They are handpicked and post-selected prior to vinification. Tommaso Poggio Nibbiale is perfect to match Matured cheese and Red meats. With this wine, Poggio Nibbiale intends to develop the full potential of the indigenous Sangiovese grapes. Consequently, the pure terroir of Poggio Nibbiale – characterized by the close Tyrrhenian sea – emerges most prominently within the Tommaso. The wine ages for 24 months in oak wood barrels of the first and second passage. With barren elegance, balanced acidity, and soft tannins it presents the character and uniqueness of this classic Italian grape variety.

Pietranova
PietraNova is located in Tuscany in the Bolgheri D.O.C. area, one of the most prestigious territories for the important production of wines of the highest quality, recognised by Italian and foreign consumers. The territory is sheltered from winter winds by a chain of hills that runs parallel to the coast, while in summer, it is swept by refreshing winds that are generated to the west, from the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Today, it is proven that it is precisely this proximity to the sea that favours the production of great wines, in Bolgheri as in Bordeaux, a city with which Bolgheri is twinned precisely because of these marvellous characteristics that they share
Bolgheri DOC Casa al Piano Pietranova:
There are no passages in wood, so vinification and ageing take place only in steel. The result is an intense, compact ruby red wine with fresh, ethereal aromas and notes of small red fruits, violets and roses. On tasting, the wine is fresh and appealing, ready and easy to drink. The taste-olfactory balance is excellent and the finely mineral finish is pleasant.

Desiderio IGT Avignonesi, Tasting notes:
Explosive olfactory impact. The wide aromatic bouquet ranges from cherry and plum jam to notes of black tea, rhubarb and graphite, with small final notes of fermented tobacco. The palate is invested by the imposing and typical structure of Tuscan Merlot wrapping and warm. Tastefully in symbiosis with the olfactory notes, the dense and linear tannin accompanies nuances of coconut and black pepper in the back.
A 100% Merlot wine that is perfect to pair game meat recipes. Desiderio was a bull who lived on the Le Capezzine farm in Avignonesi more than a hundred years ago. The largest bull in Tuscany at that time, this majestic animal contributed to defining the Chianina cattle breed, specific of the Bistecca Fiorentina. It was a natural choice to dedicate this Merlot to the beloved bull as a testimony of the origin of the wines. This is Merlot from Tuscany at its best.

From the friendship that binds the owners of Avignonesi in Montepulciano and Capannelle in Chianti, comes their sought-after 50&50 wine. The first vintage of the 50&50 was 1988: during a jovial dinner, the owners of the two cellars began to compare their wines and obtained this exceptional blend of 50% Sangiovese di Capannelle and 50% Merlot di Avignonesi. Sangiovese from Montalcino
Tuscany is the home of red wine, particularly sangiovese.

Caprili
Caprili estate was founded in 1965 by Alfo Bartolomei and the first bottle of Brunello di Montalcino Caprili is the 1978 vintage, introduced on the market in 1983. The vineyards are raised by spurred cordon, they are at an altitude ranging from 225 to 340 m above sea level. The southwest exposure of the company, which looks towards the sea, enjoys the mitigating action of the winds that avoid stagnant humidity that can cause fungal attacks on the vineyards. Therefore the only interventions are based on contact substances such as copper and sulfur. The vinification follows the natural processes favoring the use of native yeasts, contained in the grapes themselves, this gives the wine its own precise territorial identity, easily recognizable and traceable. But at the same time never homologated in taste and perfumes, rather than following the changeability of the seasonal trend of the vintages, and expressing their particularity. The Caprili company covers an area of 58 hectares, southwest of the territory in the municipality of Montalcino, on the slope of the hill that slopes towards the Orcia and Ombrone rivers.
