An impenetrable ruby-red mantle, the elegant and powerful bouquet highlights blackberry and cassis against a background of humus and fern; it then hints at balsamic resins, coffee and cinnamon. It has a remarkable structure with dense tannins. The alcoholic component is properly integrated in the progression thanks to the contribution of a generous sapidity. The finish is persistent and elegant.
Wine from Val di Cornia
Okenio is the commander of the Terradonnà winery, the highest expression of the territory of Suvereto and the Val di Cornia in a pure cabernet sauvignon (100%). They have been producing this wine since 2002 and it has made them known in the world of enology. The high quality obtained with great tenacity and every year is the greatest challenge. Produced with manual selection of the best grapes in the vineyard, slow maceration in vitrified cement vats for 24 days, malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques where it remains for 14 months. Maturation in bottle for 30 months.
Terradonnà
Terradonnà is located in Suvereto, in the Val di Cornia, a perfect area for wine production. A perfect area for wine production thanks to a soil particularly rich in minerals and a microclimate that, thanks to the recirculation of air from the sea (just a few kilometers away), maintains a mild climate all year round. The philosophy of the company stems from respect for the environment and the rhythms of nature. Firm in their desire to maintain the traditional cellar with cement tanks and wooden presses, they do not renounce innovation in winemaking techniques and research into methods of working to improve the life of the plants. Vermentino from Tenuta Guado al Tasso is straw yellow in color with greenish hues. Intense on the nose with notes of citrus fruit, white flower blossoms and tropical fruit. The palate is savory with good persistence of flavors and finishes fresh with hints of citrus fruit.
Vermentino Bolgheri DOC :
Each vineyard parcel was harvested separately, based on the level of maturity of the grapes, aimed at preserving and enhancing the complex territorial characteristics of each individual vineyard block. Upon arrival at the cellars, grapes were destemmed, delicately crushed, and gently pressed. The resulting must was transferred into stainless steel temperature controlled fermentation tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a temperature of 16 °C (61 °F). Each individual lot was carefully and systematically evaluated and then blended. Vermentino Tenuta Guado al Tasso was bottled in January 2023.
Guado al Tasso:
Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located in the small but prestigious DOC Bolgheri, in the upper Maremma, about one hundred kilometres south-west of Florence. The estate covers an area planted with vines of about 320 hectares, immersed in a splendid plain surrounded by gentle hills, known as the ‘Amphitheatre of Bolgheri’ for its particular conformation. The noble Della Gherardesca family began practising viticulture in the late 1600s on their land in Bolgheri, but things really began to change under Guido Alberto Della Gherardesca (1780-1854). He was passionate about viticulture. He was appointed majordomo to Grand Duke Leopold II and then devoted himself to oenology on the family estates in Maremma. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Vermentino; the latter is cultivated with both white and red varieties. The proximity to the sea offers a mild climate, with constant breezes that mitigate the summer heat and alleviate the harsh winter climate. The alluvial soils of the area, varying from sandy-clayey to silty-clayey rich in Bolgheri agglomerate (fine gravel), influence the character and personality of the varieties grown and give them a distinctive territorial identity

Poggio al Tesoro's Solosole is made from Vermentino grapes from Corsican clones, harvested in the Le Sondraie vineyard in the heart of the Bolgheri area. It is characterised by a straw yellow colour with good chromatic charge. It offers an intense and persistent bouquet on the nose, made up of floral notes, enriched by an immediate perception of yellow fruit. It is appreciated for its juiciness and pleasantness of drinkability, its clean, crisp taste.

The Olivodoro farm was established in 1972, in Suvereto. It selects and multiplies fruit and vegetable varieties suitable for artisanal processing and transformation into jams and marmalades, processing the freshly harvested fruit using vacuum technology, thus preserving the fruit and vegetables from oxidation and concentrating the fructose contained in the fruit itself, thus preserving the genuineness, integrity, flavour and unmistakable freshness of the fruit. Olivodoro products are therefore free of preservatives, pectin, gelatin and antioxidants.
