Bolgheri Rosso Pievi Fabio Motta:
Harvesting takes place when the grapes are fully ripe, fermentation is carried out exclusively with natural yeasts in cement tanks, the cap is submerged manually for the duration of fermentation, which lasts approximately 2 weeks for each variety. After racking and spontaneous malolactic fermentation, the wines are normally blended before the end of the year, after which they are aged for a year in unglazed cement vats. After the appropriate filtrations, it is bottled and rests for at least 6 months in the bottle
Fabio Motta:
Fabio Motta’s company started out with a small plot of land comprising 4 hectares of vines about 20 years old and then grew to about 7 hectares. The company’s small size allows the producer to personally follow every aspect step by step from cultivation to vinification, guaranteeing a process that is taken care of down to the smallest detail. The Bolgheri area overlooking the sea presents incredible qualities for viticulture, a perfect balance of climate and environment combined with Fabio’s passion and dedication reflects the perfection of this land in the wines

Le Macchiole
Founded in the early 1980s, Le Macchiole is one of the historical realities of Bolgheri, and has become over time an absolute reference point for quality Tuscan wine. The project was realised thanks to Eugenio Campolmi and Cinzia Merli, among the pioneers of the area, through their original vision of a vocated territory still at the dawn of its stylistic definition. It was their action, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, with the creation of wines that have become symbolic for their character and personality, that contributed to Bolgheri’s fame. Le Macchiole proves to be a constantly evolving reality thanks to a contemporary interpretation of wine and its terroir. Il Bruciato 2021 is intensely ruby red in color. The nose offers notes of small ripe red fruit, sweet spices, and tobacco. The palate has excellent structure, is remarkably mouth filling with a pleasant fruity aftertaste that imparts good persistence and easy drinkability.
Il Bruciato Bolgheri DOC:
Upon arrival in the cellar, selected clusters were destemmed and gently crushed. Fermentation and maceration on the skins took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately 10 to 15 days at a temperature of 28-30 °C (82-86 °F). A portion of the Merlot and Syrah musts were kept at lower temperatures during fermentation to better preserve each grape variety’s distinctive aromas. Malolactic fermentation took place both in barriques and in stainless steel tanks and was completed by the end of the year for all grape varieties. Subsequently, Cabernet Sauvignon was blended with Merlot, Syrah, and a small percentage of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot: the blend was reintroduced into barriques where it was left to age before bottling.
Guado al Tasso:
Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located in the small but prestigious DOC Bolgheri, in the upper Maremma, about one hundred kilometres south-west of Florence. The estate covers an area planted with vines of about 320 hectares, immersed in a splendid plain surrounded by gentle hills, known as the ‘Amphitheatre of Bolgheri’ for its particular conformation. The noble Della Gherardesca family began practising viticulture in the late 1600s on their land in Bolgheri, but things really began to change under Guido Alberto Della Gherardesca (1780-1854). He was passionate about viticulture. He was appointed majordomo to Grand Duke Leopold II and then devoted himself to oenology on the family estates in Maremma. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Vermentino; the latter is cultivated with both white and red varieties. The proximity to the sea offers a mild climate, with constant breezes that mitigate the summer heat and alleviate the harsh winter climate. The alluvial soils of the area, varying from sandy-clayey to silty-clayey rich in Bolgheri agglomerate (fine gravel), influence the character and personality of the varieties grown and give them a distinctive territorial identity

Wine from Val di Cornia
Okenio is the commander of the Terradonnà winery, the highest expression of the territory of Suvereto and the Val di Cornia in a pure cabernet sauvignon (100%). They have been producing this wine since 2002 and it has made them known in the world of enology. The high quality obtained with great tenacity and every year is the greatest challenge. Produced with manual selection of the best grapes in the vineyard, slow maceration in vitrified cement vats for 24 days, malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques where it remains for 14 months. Maturation in bottle for 30 months.
