Intense ruby red colour, the nose is complex with notes of strawberry and cherries, slightly spicy with floral and mineral notes, the taste is balanced and intense with dense and elegant tannins and concludes with a long savoury and mineral finish.

Rosso di Montalcino Castello di Tricerchi:

100% Sangiovese cultivated with spurred cordon and guyot, aged for about 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, harvested by hand.
Alcohol content 14%.

Castello Tricerchi

Castello Tricerchi boasts splendid vineyards located entirely on the northern slope of Montalcino, characterised by cool temperatures and marked temperature swings. The 13 hectares are cultivated exclusively with the Sangiovese Grosso variety, subdivided into 7 parcels cultivated with spurred cordon and guyot: the Vigna del Velo, named after the chapel above it dedicated to the Virgin of the Veil, the Vigna del Castello, Vigna di Sant’Anna, del Lago, dei Cipressi, del Piano and the Vigna Nuova. The soil has a rich and heterogeneous structure with the presence of calcareous clays and sand, and the prevailing north and west exposures guarantee very balanced ripening. The estate’s agriculture follows an organic philosophy based on respect for nature.
