Verkostungsnotizen:Sehr intensives, fast undurchdringliches Rubinrot. Breit, komplex, elegant, fein, süß, fruchtig mit intensiven würzigen Noten. Weich, strukturiert, großes Volumen, mit dichten und süßen Tanninen, Säure im Gleichgewicht mit der Struktur. Langer, anhaltender, fruchtiger Nachgeschmack mit Geschmacksnoten von kleinen roten Beeren aus dem Unterholz, verbunden mit intensiven und komplexen würzigen Noten.
Dieser Wein entstand 1979 aus einer Idee von Ugo Contini Bonacossi mit der Absicht, in Carmignano einen Wein aus Bordeaux-Trauben zu produzieren.
