Die erste Flasche Morellino di Scansano Moris stammt aus dem Jahr 1981, wenige Jahre nach der Gründung der DOC im Jahr 1978.

Vor zweihundert Jahren erreichte die Familie Moris die toskanische Maremma, einen Ort voller Wunder und Wein: Der Traum wurde wahr! Eine aufrichtige Liebe zu einem unberührten Land. Eine Liebe, die aus einer großen Leidenschaft für Wein entstanden ist, der in diesen Feldern seine beste Umgebung findet. Generation für Generation konzentrierte sich die Familie Moris auf den Wein und seine Herstellung. Die Höhe variiert zwischen 80 und 100 m über dem Meeresspiegel und der Weinberg liegt auf der Südwestseite.
